Scammed by Conditional Love

Just like the spiritual path, the Twin Flame experience asks us to become powerful with love from within ourselves instead of looking for fulfillment in the external. The Twin Flame experience asks us to stop reaching for our Twin to satisfy us, and instead draw upon our own infinite reservoirs of love. The process is brutal and relentless. We are meticulously shown that trying to possess our Twin leads to turmoil—why? So that we go inwards for what we seek. And what we seek is ultimate, unconditional LOVE—the very love of GodSource that we come from. And then we find that this love has been within us all along.

The Twin Flame experience is a spiritual initiation of unconditional love. We are driven to unite with our Beloved in ultimate romance, but instead, we are challenged at every turn. We are stripped of all hope for union and pushed to let go of the one and only person we so desperately long to hold. We are left utterly bereft, bare, and flabbergasted. And in this state, we are forced to stop looking to our Twin to fulfill us, and we have to tap into what has been there all the time: our own immense love. We are split open and heartbroken so that we fulfill and fill ourselves up with ultimate, unconditional love from its Source.

The lesson is profound: when we try to possess an external experience, it evades us and cannot satisfy our longing. Why? The only thing that will ever truly satisfy us is Source love. When we look outside ourselves for fulfillment, whether through romantic relationships, experiences, money, food, drugs, material objects, etc., we are never going to find what we seek. Of course, we can enjoy external experiences, by all means, but as soon as we need them to make us feel loved, they become conditional and gravely disappointing. You see, any time we reach for the conditional, we are going to struggle, grasping and consuming to no avail, until we realize that the only thing that will ever satisfy us is the infinite and unconditional love that is already within us. And this real love that we crave has to come from within because that is where it actually is.

Your Twin Flame shows you this, often mercilessly, which is why meeting your Twin can quickly spiral into feelings of being scammed. Indeed, a lot of Twin Flame stories contain an element of feeling scammed because looking outside yourself for love is a scam. It is understandable to do this because we have all been conditioned to look outside ourselves for love, but that is conditional love. And it is indeed a scam to look externally for what only you yourself can provide.

Your Twin Flame will mirror and challenge you until you give up seeking external validation and come home to Source within. They will teach you to get back to Source love and drop all your insecurities around it. In fact, right now, all human beings are going through this kind of spiritual initiation. We are facing the ugly truth of external, conditional love which has led us down the garden path and scammed us. We have been tricked to seek love where we will never find it and to believe that some day, someone might give us what is already ours. The truth is that the power of love is in your own hands. It always has been.

Lesson from a Twin Flame Union

The greatest lesson that we have learned through our physical union is that Twin Flame love is not external, but rather, it is entirely internal. Twin Flame love is deeply, purely spiritual, from the very core of our soul, and when we feel it, we become inundated with bliss. We pulse with the ecstasy of the present moment, and the perfection of life becomes revealed. We see that we are part of this immaculate perfection, and we feel so incredibly powerful. We are invincible with love—REAL LOVE that is infinite and eternal, and wholly unconditional. And we know that this love is who we really are.  

Infinite, eternal and unconditional love is hard for any human being to comprehend. It is so shockingly different from the conditional love that we humans have known on earth. We have been taught that love is external, illusory, temporary and dependent upon certain requirements. We have been taught to feel separate from love until we can earn it, possess it and make it part of our human identity. But we are SO MUCH BIGGER than the paltry, conditional love we have been trained to tolerate. We are the incalculable immensity of eternal LOVE itself.

You are immaculate love, and for you to understand the truth of who you really are, you want to go inside yourself. You want to realize that you have been conditioned to look everywhere but within your precious being for what you already have. But you can go inside your eternal self and strip away everything that stands in the way of you and your soul. That is your Twin Flame task at hand. 

Your Twin Flame love is always and ever internal. It is always inside of you. You are not separate or different from this love, nor are you separate from your Twin. You are not separate from anyone else for that matter. You and your Twin are both one, just as all of us are one, and feeling isolated and separate is not real, but LOVE is! That is why, the second you make your Twin Flame love separate and external, you ruin it and problems arise. The second you make your love conditional, it crashes and burns. The greatest love story quickly becomes a tragedy and the fairy tale that betrayed you—all because you have been conditioned to diminish the real treasure trove of LOVE within you. 

So, even though you desire harmonious physical union with your Twin so badly, the union that you seek is actually achieved by you and through you alone. Your job is to tear down what is separating you from your own love by removing your human conditioning. Your Twin highlights this conditioning for you in sharp relief, showing you just how much you feel unworthy of love. They push you to see what is between you and love, because two broken halves do not make a whole until both halves are whole. That is the Twin Flame journey.  

The process is incendiary, and your Twin lights the match. You jump headlong into the fires of your own conditioning, and you suffer the flames of abandonment and betrayal. You suffer until you burn everything in the way of love—until you rise from the ashes, phoenix style. And then you realize that falling in love with your Twin meant falling in love with yourself, and that all the magic and romance that you share is just as much part of you as it is them. And finally, you give yourself credit for your own magnificence, ego-free, and you are not afraid to love yourself wholeheartedly and to feel completely worthy of this. You are not afraid to love yourself as much as you love your Twin, irrevocably and unconditionally, forever, and you will never run away from your exquisite self again. And then you realize, with sweet irony, that as soon as you no longer need your Twin, you can fully unite with them and with all life.

The Pain of Separation

If there was one wish my beloved Suzanne and I could be granted, we would wish for our dear TwinFlame friends to be free of their pain—the pain of separation.

However, from a spiritual growth perspective, one knows that this pain is a great gift; this pain drives us to seek oneness within ourselves, for only that can assuage the intense torment of separation.

To seek oneness with another, especially your Twin, is what this pain seams to be guiding you towards. Yet this longing actually reinforces the greatest truth that we forgot so completely, so long ago. And this truth is the great liberator.

All human suffering is born of the fact that we believe we are separate; and moreover, only something ‘other’ than us, something outside, can heal us. For Twin Flames, this means that we yearn for union so fervently because we believe that it will make us whole. We believe that reunion will heal us.

The illusion is certainly convincing enough. Clearly our bodies are separate forms, aren’t they? Well not really, and science now understands this. The fact is—and it is a demonstrable fact—that there are no boundaries between bodies and between forms. We are all literally interconnected at the quantum level. Finally, science and spirituality agree on something! So in the highest states of consciousness, we are all one. Like the Dalai Lama and his favorite hotdog, we are one with everything.

So we can begin to conceive that the Twin we yearn for so terribly is in fact already part of us, is already within us, and only a state of consciousness keeps us in a state of tormenting illusion. And if we seek out the highest path, the path of self-mastery and self-love, then we can gently break open this illusion. We can allow the truth of Divine Love to engulf our being, and then we know that we are already in union in a higher dimension—a dimension we cannot perceive yet with our present state of consciousness.

But how can we even begin to dispel such a unilaterally irresistible illusion of separation?

We begin by learning to redirect the love we have for our Twin inward upon ourselves. We meditate on the truth that we are all one in the higher dimensions, and we fully embody this as solid belief. And soon, that same self-love is available for all of creation down here in the lower density. We are all elevated towards unconditional love—the undying love of Twin Flames.

The role of the Twin Flame is to intensify our sense of separation and the feeling of incompleteness, to the point where we just can’t take it anymore. We lose our minds in the madness, literally, and then stop letting our minds rule. We fall to our knees and open our hearts to the truth that we forgot—that we have always been completely whole. We simply forgot who we were for a little while.

Twin Flames are Here to Serve

If you are feeling intense, otherworldly love for your Beloved and cannot be with them, hear our heartfelt words. In fact, if you want to give up on your Beloved entirely, this clarion call applies to you too:

All that you have to do right now is simply feel the infinite love that your Beloved has inspired in you, and recognize what a Godsend this love is—in and of itself. Recognize that your Beloved helped you to open your heart wider than you ever thought possible so that divine love could pour through you and into your life, allowing dramatic healing and growth.

This love changed everything for you. And this love is here to change the earth too. For you are here to help transform this place by bringing love here. You are here to serve.

Your brave assignment is to bring unconditional love to this tired human experience. This is what creates our long-awaited heaven on earth. You are here to alchemize this dense world from lead into purest gold, through total unconditional love—the love that your Beloved has inspired. The love that you truly are.

What a purpose you have, courageous soul! So seize your purpose, and bring this love into reality, and anchor it securely on the earth. Bring a higher experience to this realm and help us to Ascend.

Now we know that Twin Flame challenges can make everything seem tragic, but you must overcome limited thinking. Don’t limit the angelic love that you feel with human corruption! Don’t make this all-powerful love conditional and possessive, thus wrecking transformation!

And get this. Your separation from your beloved actually intensifies your feelings of love, so use this opportunity to get your work done! Bring the love that we need for transformation—the transformation that precedes harmonious union and Eden.

Go forth, Beloved soul, and be brave with unconditional love. Be bold with love even in the face of the ridiculous. Be powerful even in the grips of rejection. All you have to do is feel love. Just feel it. Feel the love that is you—that is your Beloved too. For love is everyone, and we are remembering it two by two.

Waiting for Yourself

Are you struggling in a Twin Flame situation that involves waiting? If so, you are being asked to take total charge of yourself so that you aren’t waiting for anything anymore. You see, waiting is always a call to mastery. It is an invitation to stop letting anything have power over you.

So if you are waiting for the day when you can unite with your Other Half, you are being asked to fulfill yourself completely right now and get 100% in charge of your own life. You are being urged to end your own suffering and live in complete sovereignty in the present moment. But how exactly do you do this?! Through the incredible power of Unconditional Love.

Unconditional Love makes every problem with your Twin Flame go away. It melts all of your struggles with pure acceptance. There is no more suffering and there is no more resistance. You are no longer resisting who you really are. You aren’t blocking how your life is meant to flow – effortlessly, harmoniously, with total LOVE for all. You are free, complete, and powerful – your true self.

This is something that became obvious to us post union, having seen our ultimate relationship to fruition. We still had to keep tackling our individual healing, and even Twin Flame union wasn’t going to do that for us. We still had to discipline ourselves to embody unconditional love in this weary world, and by now doing this, all of our suffering is being dissolved. Lifetimes of it – gone forever at last. And we see that ending our own suffering has always been up to us. No one else. We have stopped waiting for humanity to evolve and we are doing the work ourselves – fully, completely, with no one accountable but us. All of the complaining we have ever done was because we did not take responsibility for our own power.

Any sense of waiting that any human experiences is simply because they have forgotten their own powerful love. And that natural state is always already here. Right now, every human being on the planet is being asked to stop waiting for anything outside themselves – whether an ultimate Twin Flame relationship, an evolutionary shift, or any kind of rescue – and step into their own mastery. This is what humanity’s spiritual evolution is waiting for.

Yes, Earth Ascension is waiting for you. It is waiting for you to take charge and decide that you will embody unconditional love with every thought and every breath throughout your day. Humanity is waiting for you to remember your true nature all of the time and practice all-accepting love at every moment of your life.

Making the commitment to do this – especially through your unbelievably challenging Twin Flame situation, sheds the conditional love that has kept you down and made you wait – that has made you feel bereft, abandoned and betrayed. You become the incredibly powerful being of love you really are, and this changes the world overnight. This tips the balance for all humans and creates a magically joyful experience at last.

Everything is possible with Unconditional Love. All healing and miraculous compassion. The truth is that we have all been in survival mode for a very long time and everything can be forgiven with Unconditional Love. This is what frees us. This is what gives us back ourselves.

So give love to everything and everyone that feels even remotely like a problem in your life. Practice unconditional acceptance with every thought you think and every word you speak. Love your old thoughts away and create new compassionate ones. As you do – as you practice Unconditional Love, you will hear the call to accept yourself most of all. Because everything originates with you.

That’s right, everything originates with you. So don’t wait in agony any more, beautiful Twin! You are what you are waiting for. You are the gorgeous Twin Flame LOVE that you feel, and that love is asking you to love all, all of the time.

You don’t have to live at the mercy of anything anymore, waiting for a time in some distant future when you will finally feel fulfilled. That time is now because you have decided it is so and you are now in charge! That is how you live in total fulfillment that is ever-blissful and radiates with all-encompassing Unconditional Love. 

It is up to you, brave and beneficent friend, and you are so special, so powerful and so heroic! You know who you are – each of you we have the honour to reach through this site, and we send our deepest heartfelt wishes to you.

Ultimate Healing

It is very normal to feel completely fed up with your whole Twin Flame experience. For good reason. You are going through the toughest crash course in human growth that you will ever know. You are taking the fastest route back to your true self while living in human form.

Your true self is total love, and that is what your Twin Flame experience is leading you towards. You see, your Twin Flame experience is helping you to stop resisting your own unconditional, all-accepting love. It is urging you to release all the ways you do not love yourself enough and are looking for that love in someone else. Yes, from your Twin Flame. That is why you may find yourself experiencing dramatic separation from your Other Half, including total rejection.

It’s a cruel process, but entirely effective. And it is very normal to find yourself utterly devastated, time and time again. It is completely understandable to find yourself at a total loss after trying so hard to grow through this – after trying to believe in something that exhibits little material proof.

It all seems so suspicious. Here you have been so brave to heed the call of this love and to make irrevocable changes in your life. Yet still, you may find it impossible to be with your Twin Flame. You may even find yourself rejected by them, yet again! Yet you are spoiled for anyone else!!!

What the hell is going on? How long is this going to take? And are you delusional to believe in a happy ending that looks like a joke most of the time?

The answer, dear friend, is to throw these maddening questions away and simply focus on the healing opportunities that you are being given. This healing is what your soul is urging you towards, and it is the whole point. This healing is what makes all of this make sense. It’s what guarantees that you have not suffered in vain.

Your Twin Flame experience is offering you the most accelerated and dramatic healing available to you. Period. Just think about it. Romantic love has the capacity to reach into your very depths and render you intimately vulnerable. What better way to face everything inside you that cries out to be loved by you. What better way to heal than through the most ultimate romance imaginable.

Sometimes, it takes being rejected romantically in an ultimate way to bring out every part of you that does not feel loved – so that you finally do something about it. That is why your Beloved is a Spiritual Guide working with you in the most effective way possible to help you achieve this goal. That is how much they love you at the soul level. And that is why their rejection seems so suspicious.

The number one gift that you will take away from everything you are going through is becoming whole with unconditional love. And deep down, this is what you want more than anything else. You see, before union with your Beloved, you must create union with yourself. That is why you are being pushed to become whole in yourself so that you can embody pure, unconditional love on earth.

But don’t take our word for it. Listen to your own inner knowing. Listen to the voice of your own soul as it guides you through the sea of human illusions. Look to your deepest understanding of what is real and what is false. When we did this, we found that everything our inner knowing told us turned out to be true – every last piece of intuition. Every glorious future vision. It all came true, despite seeming foolishly impossible.

Oh beautiful soul, we wish you ultimate healing on your Twin Flame journey and on your Ascension path. So Godspeed, until you are whole with unconditional love. Until you are your true self in human form and more magnificent than you dared to even dream.

Why Twin Flames Run

It can seem almost inexplicably cruel that one half of a Twin Flame union almost inevitably ‘runs’ from the other. But actually, when we think about it, it is perfectly natural to attempt to avoid intense emotions that we can neither comprehend nor control.

How many of us have blown off clear signs meant to guide us. These signs challenge our view of the world, and in so doing, help us grow towards the light. But too often, we turn away from such synchronicities that we judge as unpalatable. We prefer the sleeping darkness we’ve become accustomed to.

I want to tell you beautiful Twins who are suffering – you who are tormented by the pain and longing of your running Twin – to actually rejoice! For the fact that your Twin Flame is running proves a very real and heartening point: they are feeling the intense pull, and their inability to ‘handle’ it proves that they are feeling it! What’s more, their running is forcing you to face your lack of trust in everything – in Twin Flame reunion and possibly the benevolent universe, period – so that you grow exponentially.

We are here to be challenged, and in facing those challenges, to learn to trust the unprecedented growth that is inescapable. If we have total trust in the Twin Flame experience, suffering and all, we can learn to trust that all aspects of life are here to ensure that we grow. This is how humanity will Ascend.

It is only when we resist our challenges and complain that we remain stuck in a 3d experience of suffering. For Twin Flames, this is magnified. Twin Flames are at the sharpest end of human experience. Resistance from the runner and chaser, the awake and the asleep, is doubly challenging. Yet the growth afforded becomes multiplied.

So when your life seems to be at its most vicious, it only serves to demonstrate in sharp relief that you are ready to make substantial leaps back to perfection. That is what you came here to do, my friend.

The most destabilizing experiences – the ones that challenge your whole view of the world, carry at their core the most stupendous opportunity for sublime expansion of spirit. In the end, you will be grateful beyond measure.

From the Ridiculous to the Sublime

The Twin Flame path can feel confusing, never-ending, and tumultuous to the point of absurdity. In essence, it is an initiation that gives you back yourself by removing all need, insecurity, and desperation. It does so by hurling you into a world of need, insecurity, and desperation – so that you heal these limitations forever. So that you become solid and strong in your own unconditional love.

How do you get back to unconditional love – the love that is your true nature? By being thrust into the opposite. You see your conditioning in sharp relief, your need for external validation, your lack of worthiness and distraction from true joy – and it is all delivered on a silver platter by your Twin Flame.

The dark night of the soul that ensues is ridiculous. There are so many dark nights that you lose count. All of your pain is brought to the surface. You cannot escape it, bury it, deny or avoid it any longer. The longing – the LOVE makes it impossible to do so. You are driven to heal EVERYTHING by the one who is EVERYTHING. What a genius, albeit excruciating plan.

What saves you is LOVE. The very love that merges with your Beloved. The love that stirs from your depths with infinite magnetism.

Love saves you. Love in the ruins of your old life. Love in the face of what is most scary and raw. The Love of your very self.

Love emerges and changes everything you knew before. You will never be the same again. You can never go back, for you are discovering who you really are and why you are here, with sublime remembrance.

You are a leader of Love, dear friend, here to help our waking world. So Godspeed, brave soul, until you love yourself as much as you love your Twin. Unconditionally.

Until you emerge from the ruins, brush off the dust, and begin to truly flourish. And bring so much unconditional love to this earth.

The BIG Question

Suzanne and I continually receive the same question from fellow Twins, asked in a multitude of ways. The question invariably boils down to ‘How can I reunite with my Twin?’

Naturally, we all have many and varied opinions in respect to such a question, but I would like to refer to my direct experience as guidance. And from that guidance, I can give you a quick and disarmingly simple answer – ‘By following your heart.’

In order to be with my Twin, I followed my heart and ignored my ego as much as I could. My heart guided me to grow spiritually.

Being spiritual means wildly different things to different people, so I will try to express what it means to me.

My personal awakening began out of a deep desire to expand my consciousness. For me, that meant sweeping away the veil of illusion. It meant  breaking down that most convincing and apparently self-evident convention that each of us exists as a separate form – that we are locked down as fragments of matter in a meaningless, and quite possibly hostile sea of time and space.

Getting spiritual essentially meant developing a palpable sense of connection to something ineffable – to a sense of wonder that informs an inner knowing. And this knowing reminded me that my human experience, so apparently rooted in limitation and suffering, was but a fleeting manifestation, a self-constructed version of reality. I realized I had forgotten who I really was.

On a more practical level, I wanted to grow in awareness so that I would no longer feel limited and fearful. But to be honest, I didn’t much like what I discovered as the way to liberate myself. Sure, I had fun rediscovering that matter, time and space are illusory constructs of experience in the mind, but I did not want to hear that in order to cease being a prisoner to this illusion, I must first surrender to it.

I found it impossibly hard, as most of us do, to accept the unacceptable – to consciously allow the world and my experience to simply be as it is, warts and all. “But isn’t there so much that needs fixing and making good?” I would insist. And while meditating on acceptance, I was bombarded by the thought that there is too much suffering in this world to just accept things as they are.

But in time, I realized that any sort of opposing or resisting merely serves to energize that which you resist.

The only way to truly make good a situation that causes you suffering is to first allow it to be as it is. And by not resisting it anymore, the situation no longer has the power to make you suffer so much. When you are not suffering, you are more aware of potential actions which may improve the situation. You can work things out with less negative emotion driving your thinking.

Applying this expanded consciousness to any situation allows you to look at it from a significantly higher perspective. Soon you stop reacting to irritations in your life. Traffic jams became far less of a problem, rude people can be forgiven more easily, and stress is no longer so, er, stressful.

We can then apply this accepting attitude to the big stuff too. It works in the same way. Our Twin won’t talk to us – consciously allow them to be what they are now! You will find an infinite reserve of forgiveness you didn’t know you had, and in so-doing grow immeasurably.

We know just how hard it can be, but whatever your Twin Flame situation is, allow it to be as it is. Allow the light of your expanded awareness to shine upon it in order to heal it. Accept your Twin Flame experience as it arises, in all its technicolor tumult that is pushing you to grow – that is asking you to expand your consciousness. And remember the infinite Love from whence you came, before you fell into the trap of believing that the material world of separate forms is all there is.

For all of you bravely walking the Twin Flame path, know that you are getting closer to yourself with every step. Know that your efforts are not in vain and that your soul is rejoicing in your growth. Unconditional love is your shining goal. It is what your Twin is testing you to embrace. Most of all, you are being pushed to unconditionally love yourself. That is the grace found in each dark night.

So keep going, courageous friend, and rescue yourself back to LOVE. Rescue yourself so completely that you flourish! But how? It starts with simple joys.

Find the fun in each moment, and let it lead to the harmony you seek. Find the playfulness that was lost as a serious adult, and return yourself to lightness and fun. There, you will powerfully thrive! And help so many by lighting the way back to joy.
